Statement by Brad Chambers on Indiana Landing Largest Single Investment in State History

INDIANAPOLIS (Apr. 25, 2024) – Republican gubernatorial candidate and former Indiana Secretary of Commerce Brad Chambers today released the following statement after yet another large investment was announced in St. Joseph County, this time from Amazon Web Services.

As Indiana’s secretary of commerce, Chambers led Indiana’s historic effort to attract more than $51 billion in committed capital investment and tens of thousands of jobs, including the just announced $11 billion investment from Amazon Web Services and its more than 1,000 jobs:

“If it were up to career politicians like U.S. Senator Mike Braun or Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch, announcements like this wouldn’t be happening,” stated Brad Chambers. “They’ve proven that they’re incapable of thinking big or playing to win. As Indiana’s secretary of commerce, that’s exactly what I did to attract major investments like Amazon Web Services and its thousands of well-paying careers that will transform lives and entire communities.”

“Career politicians can’t — and won’t — build a better future for Hoosiers. I can and will, and that’s why I’m running for governor,” he added.
